Milestone Birthday for Milton Resident David Menzies
David Menzies of Milton turned 91 on Sunday March 9. Born in a large Georgian home he now occupies he began on the family farm and later joined a harvesters’ expedition to the Western Provinces in 1908. He for a time grew simion for his uncle then worked for D. D. Christie as general constructor and maintenance man overseeing lime kilns and building projects. He helped engineer several Milton structures including the Princess Theatre later renamed the Roxy.

Wellington County council opposes a Canadian Pacific Railway plan to remove agents and services from various London division locations.
