Boost Bell rates April 7 for Acton exchange area
Bell boss L G Denby announced increases to align Acton exchange rates with other regions as required by the Canadian Transport Commission. Two party residence service will rise 20 cents monthly and individual residence service 25 cents. Acton area had 10 875 telephones at filing time. Night school closing report and photos were omitted but will appear next Wednesday.

Record 1500 Enjoy Two Skating Shows

Double turn Mill Main collision at Mill Main corner
A tank truck and a 1958 Buick collided at the Mill Main corner Friday at 5 20 pm. The Shell truck driven by Ray Altman of Kitchener caused $150 damage to James Keane of Rockwood on the left front fender and bumper after the double turn. Cons Farion investigated and charged one driver. The report also notes moon men with lighted headdresses and a list of skaters.
