Halton Seed Fair Highlights Drought Affected Entries
The eighteenth annual Halton Seed Show and Bacon Show in Milton featured the Junior Famer displays. A drought and ungraded seed trading were blamed for a record small seed entry while weed seeds contaminated a sample. Awards honored Calvin Aitken and M T McNabb Sons with several clubs and individuals recognized for oats barley potatoes and rounds of hogs across four townships. Next week promises more Saturday highlights.
