Three Tribes Begin Indian Camp Club For Youth
In the YMCA lounge last Saturday a new Indian Camp Club opened for youths ages eight to 16. Three tribes with chiefs Apaches Cochise Don Wilds Sitting Bull Comanches Bob Wahiman Iroquois Saver Water Ron Sinclair meet Saturdays. Activities include camp lore wrestling carving hunting lacrosse and camping safety. Secretary Bob Redfern serves as Grand Chief White Eagle.

Talented Artist Mrs P Beer Dies In Guelph Hospital
Mrs Paul Beer, trained at Budapest College of Art, died March 7 at Guelph General Hospital. Born 1902 in Gyula Hungary she lived in Georgetown since 1938 after moving from Toronto with her husband Dr Beardmore Beer of Acton. She designed the carved gateway at Lidia Farm and was active in Georgetown Arts and Crafts. Survived by her husband two sons Thomas and Michael two grandchildren and her mother Mrs Wilma Pap. Funeral held Tuesday at McClure Funeral Home Georgetown and Greenwood Cemetery.

Seal Sales at $277 Rotary Club Told
Treasurer Art Woodburn reported to Acton Rotary Club on Tuesday that Easter seal sales totaled 277 dollars to date, about a third of last year’s amount, with hopes the final total would match or exceed the prior year. After a March 11 win over South Simcoe in Bond Head the Hatton junior debating team advances to one of three remaining in the provincial championship. Judges Garriock Brecken and Nicholls awarded the Hatton win with county participants Eleanor McKeown and Earl Snow. Square Dance Club Concludes Season
The final square dance of the season drew a near 100 crowd last Friday in St. Alban's parish hall. Don Nelson of Guelph called the event assisted by Gib Kingsbury. Plans were announced to continue the club next October after high attendance at recent dances.
