Halton County council approved an extra vote for Acton Reeve John Greer based on the last voters list showing 2,150 electors. With Deputy Reeve R J Hargrave's vote, Acton now has three votes, while Millon has three and Nassagaweya two. others retain four. Greer welcomed to replace former Reeve John Goy who became Mayor. Goy will chair several committees and sit on others.

Heated Debate Over Acton Hydro Budget At Meeting
At the Acton Hydro Commission regular session on March 10, a heated discussion followed the presentation of an estimated capital expenditure of 24,000 dollars.
