At a Tuesday meeting the Acton Public Utilities Commission reviewed power bills from the Acton station. HEPC costs last year totaled 994 037.90, with projected 1 568.75 payable this year after conversion to 80 cycle. Last year the municipality received a surplus over 5 600. Delegates to the 60 cycle conversion meeting reported on progress, with conversion slated between September 7 and 18. An official from HEPC will interview plant staff within three weeks to outline conversion needs.

On Friday March 6 the Parish Lads and Dads Men’s Club of St Alban’s Church hosted a Dads and Lads Nite. Fathers and sons attended enjoyed food and fellowship as the rector explained the club’s purpose and the event sponsored by the Men’s Club.
