Acton Merchants Draw Names For Local Prize Series
Mrs. Jean Leitch won last winher in the 26 draws of the merchants prize. The final Free Living for Week draw occurred Saturday afternoon at the post office with Mayor John Gay drawing the name. A crowd gathered at three o clock to witness the selection, which awarded $40 Malted gift certificates and $1326 cash plus $240 in certificates across 26 draws. Most winners are in Acton, with no duplicates. Draws ran from September 15 to Saturday, promoting Saturday shopping at home with vouchers from participating stores placed in the draws.
