A sleet storm failed to dampen a 250 strong audience as 280 women modeled spring fashions from coats to swimwear at a Friendly Circle event. Paulette Fashion Shop supplied outfits with accessories from Rachlin’s and Benson’s Shoe Store. Staging featured music by Glenn Banks and a plant display, with Miss Tom Mullen presenting styling tips and Miss Ann Briggs assisting.

Arena demolition planned under winter works program
