Drowning scare at Cheat Fairy Lake recalls boyhood first aid
Elizabeth Ziegler 16 of Everton was pulled from Cheat Fairy Lake at Acton Park on a Sunday afternoon. Lifeguards and local volunteers administered Holger Nielsen artificial respiration while firemen and Dr D A Garett and W G C Kenney arrived to treat her. She regained breathing and was taken to Guelph General Hospital then returned home Monday afternoon fully recovered.

Acton Leather Processing Plant to Start Next Week
