No More Paralysis Cases Reported in Toronto
Parents and citizens are pleased that last week’s infantile paralysis cases are mild and the three victims are progressing in Toronto Hospitals. Only Mel Issa Behes has partial paralysis. others are Jack Devideon aged 5 and Donald Dawkins aged 8. Precautions were taken including bath restrictions at Fairy Lake and health inspections by nurse Mica Walker. Dr Cullen says no cause for alarm but urges precautions and physician consultation if high temperature appears. No further cases have been reported.
