Acton Council Names Auditor and Sifts 1942 Budgets
Acton council met Tuesday with Reeve McDonald in the chair. They appointed H. A. Lever of Lever and Hoaking Toronto as corporation auditor for 1942 at a $200 annual fee, to be paid quarterly. The meeting also approved several refunds and payments, reduced chief Harrop’s insurance coverage, and set committee heads responsible for sanctioning bills.
