Barn Fire Destroys Duncan Buchanan’s Nassagaweya Farm
A sudden blaze at Duncan Buchanan’s Nassagaweya farm destroyed a large barn grain and most of the cattle. Neighbors and worker Donald McDonald aided in saving others but about 50 head were lost. Loss runs to thousands with only partial insurance. Buchanan advertises his livestock for sale.

Dublin Institute held its regular monthly meeting at Mrs Duncan Moffat's home with President Mrs W D Barber in the chair. Plans were made for a booth at Mr Clark's sale and quilts were discussed with one almost finished. Mrs McGlaughlin presented Home Economics, Mrs VanGoozen won the rookie contest judged by Mrs Wilbert Darby, and a Social Welfare paper by Mrs Moffat was read.
