D Sargent won the Halton County Warden post at the augural meeting defeating Trafalgar Reeve Alex Phillips by 1413 open ballots. G V Barbeau manager of A P Green Co in Actpit says a branch has won the contract to supply refractories and installation for the Saturn project at Cape Canaveral Florida.
