Charged For Illegal Dumping of Garbage
Joe Kir of RR 1 Burlington has been charged with illegal dumping. A whole truck load of garbage was found on the sixth line Nassagawega near Beaver Dam. Many dump incidents have occurred in Halton, especially Georgetown.

Police report four deer killed on Halton highways after the deer season closed. Lloyd Hilson of R R 3 Matton struck a deer on No 25 near Speyside, three deer ran across the road and one was hit. Earlier Tracy Barrager struck a deer on No 7 near Acton, carcasses sent to Milton for meals in the jail.
