The Acton United Church announces Rev. R. E. Zimmerman as pastor at 11.00 a.m. with a sermon on God the Father, first in a series on the Doctrinal Basis. Sunday activities include 2.30 p.m. Sabbath School and 7.00 p.m. sermon Brass for Gold. Young People’s League meets Monday at 8.00 and Thursday prayer at 7.39.
The Acton church lists Rev A C Stewart M A at the Willow Street manse with morning service at 11.00, mid day and evening sermons on the Sabbath and Bible classes at 8.00 p.m. On Monday at 3.00 p.m a Young People's Guitar meeting is planned and strangers will be called upon by the Pastor at the ushers' station.

W C Wilson of Toronto Township in Peel County faced a charge of being an accessory to an inspector and constable on February 6 and was remanded for a week. A 32 ton vault door and an 11 foot diameter vestibule guard a famous New York City bank’s securities. The door weighs 32 tons, is eight feet wide and four feet thick, made of armor plate and welded steel. A 25 ton vestibule accompanies it, while a team of 24 horses hauled the door to the building.
