The Ecton Village Council met in Matthews Hall on Thursday the 13th with all members present except the Reeve. The meeting confirmed last minutes and read first and second readings of a by law to appoint a Returning Officer and fix the next municipal election site. The tenth Finance Committee report recommended payment of Stafford Zimmerman 4.00 for tax collection. W. J. Hughes’ account was referred for report. The council adopted the finance report, then read the by law third time, affixed the seal, and adjourned sine die.
