Rubin Corporation Win Over Acton Committee On Lot Severance
At a town hall hearing the Ontario Municipal Board allowed Rubin Corporation Ltd to appeal the Acton committee of adjustment ruling. The board set aside the prior decision, noting it too easily involved public bodies and cautioning future regulatory compliance. It found the committee had jurisdiction and should have approved the severance and lot combination on Lots 133 134 and 135 Plan 603 with services on Elizabeth and Elmore Streets.
