Fur Breeders Show At Aldershot Highlights Mink Pelt Diversity
The Hatton and Wentworth Fur Breeders Association staged a Mink Pelt Show at the Aldershot Motors Show Room on Friday December 3. Over 450 pelts of Canadian Ranch Mink varieties were judged, with live specimens displayed. The Grand Champion was Calvin Martin of St Marys for an astel pelt, Reserve Grand Champion Gilroy Bros of Oakville, and Gilroy Bros also triumphed in Silverblu. Russell Griffith of Clarkson won Standard class top honors for a dark mink upwelt, while Ted Welch of Ancaster took the Best Tailored Pelt in the Shaw.
