Acton police stopped a car with a light out during the weekend and uncovered a stock of stolen goods while questioning the driver. An Erin man was charged with possession of stolen goods by the Acton detachment and with theft by the Mississauga detachment.

The Acton detachment reports 120 vehicles checked with no licence plates removed. Nine motorists fined for highway Traffic Act infractions and 39 warned for minor offences.
