First Tax Instalment Collected in Acton to Avoid Penalty

Mrs William A Tuck learns her husband Pte Wm A Tuck has been wounded in action abroad. Born in Georgetown he worked at a paper mill before enlisting in April 1942 and served with the Saskatoon Light Infantry after training in Hamilton. He and his brother Albert N Tuck, both enlisted together, have been stationed together in England Scotland and Sicily before Italy.
