Arena Leased For Summer Dance Floor Project Planned
Acton council approved summer use of the arena to install a dance floor and to host a June race meeting. The waterworks extension contract was subbed to Knowles Construction Co with bonds and a $1,000 cheque. The Y’s Men’s Club sought to lease the arena May 21 to Labor Day for dances at $200 plus $5 per extra night, with option for future years.
