Sunday Morning Fire Damages Chicken House and Equipment
A Sunday morning fire caused by a brooder burner damaged JL MacSwain's chicken house and led to the loss of about 100 baby chicks. Neighbors helped evacuate the chicks, and damage is estimated at 400 dollars. Fire brigade responded as the blaze was controlled and nearby structures protected.
