Acton Free Press seeks information on long time residents. Elizabeth Stone born 1875 in Acton, 80 year home stay on John Street. Others include Mrs Mullin on Highway 25 and Dr Kenney on Church Street with 61 years in place.
About 300 music lovers attended a concert by the Queensmen of Toronto at Knox Presbyterian church, sponsored by the Ladies' Aid. Roderick A. Sheppard led four program groups with soloists James Crockett and others, including songs like The Battle Hymn and Onward Christian Soldiers, ending with social hour. William Mainprize, Acton’s oldest citizen, celebrated his 97th birthday nearby.

Douglas Milne Robertson 27 died March 25 at Guelph General Hospital after an illness. Born in Guelph he lived in Eden Mills. Survived by wife and two daughters, parents and siblings. Funeral held in Guelph with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Gil bert Alexander Sinclair of Acton died suddenly in St Joseph's hospital Guelph on March 3. He worked for the Wool Combing Corporation Acton born in Enmn township. Interment at Greenwood cemetery with four brothers as pallbearers and many Sinclair relatives surviving including Gear and J. Fred Sinclair.
The Citizens' Band performed Sunday evening at the Roxy Theatre before about 100 attendees. Storey was master of ceremonies while Band Master A Perrott conducted the program of marches overtures and songs with accordion solos by Joseph Seelon and Lee Duby.

Bennett a former staff member faced suspension related to his leadership role while P J Wigtock heads a nearby operation. The Esquesim area is known for its purebred Sherthorn cattle and Bennett’s farm shows and exhibits highlight the district.
