Iolanthe Comic Opera Performed by Concord High Glee Club
The two act comic opera Iolanthe by Gilbert and Sullivan was staged by the Concord high school Glee club on Friday and Saturday evenings. Miss Thelma McGregor and Norman McAllister of this village appeared in the cast and Mr McAllister's singing received high compliments as an excellent and delightful surprise to schoolmates and friends.

Death of Anthony T Kenrick after long illness
Anthony T. Kenrick died at his South Street home on Friday April 30 after a long illness. He was 66 years old, born in East Boston, long resident of the Kenrick estate on Shawsheen Road Bedford. Survived by wife Susan M., brothers Frank George Lochman, sister Mrs Henrietta Russell, son Charles and daughter Mrs Mary Savage. Funeral held Tuesday from the residence with Rev Th. C. Torrey officiating. He was regarded as honest and industrious with many acts of kindness.
