The plot centers on Col Robert Rudd and Col Richard Byrd and their families in a feud that ends with marriages and a happy ending. The Maynard L. D. Wilson Chapter of De Molay marked its seven year anniversary with a banquet at the Masonic hall Monday night. Parents, members and guests attended a roast lamb supper at 6:30, arranged by Mr and Mrs Oliver Trees and Rainbow Girls. A memorial service for the late Hon. Chester I. Campbell was led by William K. Walter with assistance from Robert Madsen, George Weaving, Ralph Smith and the chapter staff. George Erickson’s program featured a quartet of past master councillors, aided by Walter Priest, Gerald Conroy and Harry Willis of Everett. Robert Madsen sang with Frances Archer at the piano.

William Foss Dead A Longtime Concord Farmer
William Foss longtime Concord resident and farmer died at Massachusetts Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. He came to Concord at age 21 and lived there 61 years. He was a member of the Concord Lodge of Elks, with services held at his home and a burial at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. He is survived by his wife Augusta, two sons William Foss of Carlisle and Percy T. Foss of Concord, two brothers Clinton and Charles Foss, two sisters Elizabeth Perkins and Carrie Corbett, nine grandchildren, and one great granddaughter in Los Angeles.
