Des Moines August 12 Colonel Lincoln of the Army of the Brown won the field while Colonel Bishop and the Army of the Blue failed. Lincoln fortified north of the city on a bluff to repulse the Blues. Corporal Moraville of Shenandoah district was wounded in the Brown ranks. Forces will break camp and march into Des Moines entering Locust street then pass the governor's reviewing stand before marching to railway stations for home.
