Pioneer Lady Gleeson Dies in Satsop Valley

Mrs Anna Gleeson widow of James Gleeson Sr died at the Gleeson homestead in the Satsop valley at 2 pm Monday aged 58 years 11 months 1 day after a period of illness. Funeral held this morning in Elma Catholic church with interment in the Catholic cemetery near Elma. born April 24 1849 in Clare County Ireland she came to Latsop in 1863 following her marriage to pioneer James Gleason._surviving are three sons Michael Sarsfield F and James and three daughters Mrs Jos Leybold Jr Marie A and Nellie Gleeson.
