Governor Ernest Lister releases a statement reviewing the recent session in Olympia. He cites total appropriations rising from 11.2 to 16.3 million since 1911 and notes vetoes totaling about 6.7 million, with tax savings and budget control efforts to follow.

Mrs Willey, a local artist, had lived here with three sons since the divorce. The couple, once separated by tragedy and distance, reconciled when they met at the mother’s bier during a funeral visit.
