Chamber Plans Three Classes for Membership Revise By Laws
The Chamber of Commerce approved amendments to its by laws at a Tuesday luncheon to create Active Associate and Non resident classes with set annual fees. Active members pay 12 dollars, corporations 60, associates 6, non residents 25 for firms and 6 for individuals. A seven member executive committee was also approved. A Hoquiam 25 000 Club group urged regional tax equalization and the matter was referred to taxation committees for action.

Adventists Plan Tent Meetings in Local Tract
The Seventh Day Adventists, under the Western Washington Conference, will hold a series of religious meetings in a large audience tent at the South corner of West Heron and Michigan streets. Aberdeen council enacts hotel guest registry and street sign curbs
The Aberdeen city council, with full attendance, approved a hotel and lodging house guest registry ordinance and ordered removal of street obstructions including bicycle racks and sign boards. A July 1 clearance deadline was set for streets. The council also eyed a half mile right of way through Mr Pinch’s land to connect a road to Ocosta and a proposed twelve foot plank roadway. Warrant interest on city funds will drop to six percent, excluding local improvements. An extension on railway entry was debated with a bridge crossing proviso along Chehalis river to retain street access.
