Absurd Objections to Hoquiam County District Plan
A Hoquiam article defends a new act dividing counties into judicial districts and naming Aberdeen as sub court seat. It rejects six constitutional objections as baseless, arguing juries may be drawn from districts, delegation of authority is common, trials need not occur only at county seats, and county division does not create new counties. It calls the objections petty and urges Supreme Court review to uphold the law’s practicality and cost savings.
