Second Judicial District Delayed by Supreme Court Ruling
The Hoquiam faction known as the Hoquiam Knockers secured a temporary writ of prohibition delaying Judge Irwin from acting on the Chehalis county second district until the state supreme court rules on the law’s constitutionality on July 2. Aberdeen supporters condemn the move while Hoquiam progressives push for a sub courthouse and annexation to Aberdeen, believing the delay may hasten a final court decision.
