P. P. Carroll, a Seattle attorney, sues Ninemire & Morgan Co. and G. M. Antrim for 28750 dollars over alleged services in a Grays Harbor lumber merger plan. He claims in August 1904 the defendants discussed financing a consolidation of two saw mills two shingle mills two logging railroads and 750000000 feet of timber and that about 2500000 was needed to complete the deal. He says he arranged with Federal Bond & Trust Co New York to finance if security was approved, but the defendants refused to cover expenses and the deal collapsed. Carroll notes Antrim planned to leave the state and records a deposition from J Bridges showing prior talks on the consolidation.
