Obituary for John G. Lyons Harbor Resident 77
John G. Lyons a long time Cosmopolis resident aged 77 died at his home yesterday morning. He leaves a wife and five children including daughters Mrs Harper of Cosmopolis and Mrs Pontigely of Tacoma and sons William Charles L and James. Funeral services were held at 10 a m from his residence with Bowes and Randolph in charge.

Injured logger Brazell in serious condition at local hotel
James Brazell, a noted logger, was severely beaten on the face and head with a boot by William Sanderson at the New England hotel on Main near Third. Though he appeared near death last night, he improved this morning and may recover though his eye could be permanently damaged. He suffered cuts above and below the eye and extensive bruising on the left side of the face. Also includes a long list of uncalled-for letters at Aberdeen post office dated week ending June 11 1907 and an advertisement for Bucklen’s Arnica Salve with a testimonial.
