Traveling drummer protests editor and Roosevelt ally robert
A lengthy letter defends traveling salesmen, praising Northwest drummers for bringing commerce to Aberdeen and criticizing a June Aberdeen Daily Bulletin article as misrepresenting the traveling man. It argues the drummer’s role supports local merchants and hotels, and condemns the editor’s stance as untrustworthy. The piece also critiques Paul Morton and Ryan management of Equitable Life, contrasting Roosevelt’s praise with World editorial doubts.
