The new Pacific coast resort at Moclips debuts with a three sided hollow square hotel of 280 by 34 feet, 96 bedrooms, wide verandas and a dancing hall. Dr. Lucan plans year round use and a $50,000 investment with future buildings including gym, baths, and a saltwater swimming tank. Humptulips City nearby boosts prospects of lumbering, farming, and rail access as the town develops.

City Council Orders Shack Clearance and Street Upgrades
