Aberdeen Civic Improvement association led a six day raid by city youths against dandelions. Nearly twenty tons of weeds were dug up and destroyed. Auto Turrets Over Embankment Near Aloha
An auto carrying Miss Alice Pierson and Miss Fanny Hastings and driven by James Peters overturned on a steep 10 foot embankment near Aloha. Pierson suffered a slight ankle bruise, Peters escaped with minor injuries, Hastings landed on brush. Damaged windshield and top. Local motorcycles and other vehicles also wrecked in nearby wet dirt road conditions.
