Tide land fill is under way west of Broadway
Actual work on the tideflat fill west of Broadway and east of Division street is now under way and will be vigorously prosecuted from day to day until completed. It must be finished within 20 months from February 21, 191, per the Tacoma Dredging company contract. Clearing includes removing trees brush and undergrowth and thoroughly cleaning the district. Streets alleys must be cleared of brush rubbish stumps cut and removed and planks burned or reused where suitable.
