Lawson challenges Beck to public debate at Faneuil Hall

Boston February 21 1905 Thomas W Lawson issues open letter to James M Beck ex Assistant Attorney General now counsel for Standard Oil urging a public debate at Faneuil Hall within ten days on alleged crimes of Standard Oil. Lawson offers 5000 dollars to Journalist League if Beck accepts and a larger fund could be raised by selling tickets.

Logger Killed by Train at Elk River Camp

Claude Bailey a logger was killed when dragged beneath a logging train at Lytle's Elk river camp last Wednesday. He fell after his foot caught in ties as he walked in front of moving cars. Breakbeams trapped him. death was instant. He had a Wellington Mo brother and was a Foresters member. The body was shipped to Wellington after the accident.
