Satoop School district paid its first bond of 200 dollars out of 1200 outstanding as bonds have been out three years. Montesano bonds were taken by the state at four percent, amounting to 5000 dollars. The Montesano Lumber Co. mill runs at full capacity to meet orders while the Shingle Co. restores a new dry kiln. Visitors include Judge Robert Studevant and wife from Dayton and Mrs Calder with her cousin. A niece, Miss Ruth Terry, visits from Seattle. A party honors Miss Marguerite Goodell before her California departure.
