Maple Ridge Men Form 104th Regiment Maple Ridge Company
Sixty volunteers from Maple Ridge and Whonnock paraded before Colonel J D Taylor at Haney to form a local company for the 104th Regiment New Westminster. Reeve N Lougheed and George Godwin named lieutenants. The unit will drill for possible home defence and may be deployed beyond Canada if needed.
