Georgia Lawyer Felder May Be Arrested in Abbeville Route
Georgia attorney Will Thos B Felder, a former dispensary winding up commission member, may be arrested in South Carolina on his way to the National Democratic Convention. Governor Blease says sheriffs in Greenville and Spartanburg were warned to seize him if he passes, though Abbeville Sheriff Lyon has received no direct instruction. Felder, who is a delegate for Georgia, had not been indicted in the state, and a Newberry grand jury failed to return a true bill. Felder said in Atlanta he would attend the Baltimore Convention with the Georgia delegation, a claim the outcome will be watched closely.
