A jumble of small notices from Nelson including visits by Mrs. Gus Mathews, patent medicine dealers, and shares at par. Viking mining notes report Dewar Falls and McLeod placer leases, talk of Mackintosh protection for Canadian industries, and deaths from appendicitis. Local figures John Burne Allan Archer Evie and others suffer illnesses. hotel and mining operations resume with new mills and stock.

The Rossland Miner's Union sends a letter to secretaries of royal lodges urging support for HL Mackintosh in the riding. They credit him with aiding organized labour during the strike and praise his long record of championing workers' rights, asking unions to vote accordingly.
The Hunter V mine production rises from 150 to 200 tons per day. Additional ore now goes to Trail smelter, with deliveries to Granby Nelson Northport and Trail. The tramway currently handles 200 tons in two shifts but can reach 300 tons with more buckets.
The HKACP announces the second half year of its existence and reports improved tone welcomed by subscribers. It plans further improvements and notes some readers who subscribed for the half year only have expired deposits acceptable.
