West mining operator Wm. C. Ish visits Nevada amid bank tightness. He extends payments on Gallagher mine and other properties, expresses confidence Nevada will recover and Yerington will become a leading western camp. Ish and associates have invested heavily and will push development when funds loosen.
Attorney E. H. Evans, former resident, extols Rawhide as a future Nevada bonanza camp. He notes 2000 residents, stacked stages and autos, and high grade ore worth 10 to 20 dollars per pound. He says the recent financial downturn hurt Rawhide but a boom is forthcoming as money issues ease. Evans plans to return next week amid local investor excitement.
The celebrated animal Kidnaper will perform at Owl Hall on December 13 offering clever tricks that display human intelligence. Adults pay 50 cents and children 45 cents for admission. A social dance follows the show.
New York financier L C D Eakins leads a plan to build a custom smelter in Yerington to process 200 tons of copper daily. Through Sam Davis the Publicity Commission chairman, Harlem backers have shown interest and questioned smelting specifics. Echoes of Butte ore makeup and a $50,000 total cost are cited in recent letters.
In Yerington a bond on the Mascot group of six Rawhide claims was transferred from Ira Wagoner to K E Whitacre and associates. The deal, not disclosed in amount, signals a major investment to develop the estate and test ore depth and vein continuity.
Fred A. Flindt has accepted management of the Wheeler Gold Mines and mill in the Yerington region and left for camp Sunday afternoon. He plans to have the plant running wide open within a week and has brought in expert mill and cyanide men. His prior examination and test runs suggest the proposition can be made to pay, with rumors predicting output well above prior idle status and possibly over $101,000 a month at full operation.
A report from the Ludwig property highlights a rich vein at the 550 foot level with back oxide copper. Cross cuts reveal 27 feet width, ore sampling runs 35 percent copper, with estimated potential value around 850 500 dollars depending on depth and strike extent.

The three were tasked to sample the property and plan operations, with a likely extensive development in the Yerington district as promising surface showings attract attention. The district is seen as a future boom area.
J Lennard Jr of Buckskin reports money market strain easing. Local mines Honest Endeavor and Union Blue plan to resume by December 15 with full crews. Richards and Grant take Champagne lease on Kennedy Consolidated, moving high grade ore toward shipment as Buckskin cements its status.
The Times states it erred in a recent issue by claiming Otto Taubert extended payment time on Wabuska Copper Mines holdings. The paper now says the Wabuska Copper Mines company owes nothing and is free of encumbrances. The misstatement about Mr Tanbert is acknowledged and apologized for.
