Firemens Ball Raises Funds for Local Company
Saturday night at nine the Firemens Benefit dance opened with sociable spirit led by Fire Chief Kelly and hose team members wearing badges. Man Found Dead From Self-Inflicted Gunshot Near McTaggart Club
A man about 30 years old discharged a Colt 25 calibre pistol under the trees north of the McTaggart Club House on Saturday at 7:30 AM. He died within about 40 minutes from a bullet wound to the right temple. An Italian letter addressed to Frank Rosaschi explained his desire to end life for rest on the other side. The coroner’s jury found death by self-inflicted gunshot, with estate details and an administrator named Rosaschi. The body was taken to Yerlington cemetery for burial amid notes of his steady work at nearby farms. Community members recall him as a reliable laborer, and investigators confirmed the fatal self-inflicted act.
