At the Yerington Commercial Club meeting last Thursday evening much business was completed. A camp ground for tourists was endorsed, with vacant Pearl and Nevada street lot chosen for development. Subscriptions were collected, totaling 95 dollars with a 10 dollar club donation.Plans were discussed to improve Yerington Cemetery, and Louis Klopsch outlined a Nevada promotional effort using moving pictures and national magazines. A committee was formed to list county lands and resources for investors. Friedhoff was re-elected president with a full slate of officers and directors named. The club, once a nonentity, is now a thriving force guiding Lyon county development.
