Mrs Anna Pilcher died last Thursday January 27 from paralysis after months of ill health. Born June 11, 1846 in Austria she lived in Hawthorne Yerington and Goldfield Nevada before moving to Seattle with her husband Ed Pilcher. Survived by husband two daughters Mrs Kate Nye and Mrs Nettie McClanahan and three sons Walter Alec and Lee Moser. Body to be shipped to Tolt Washington for interment February 3 services.

Busy Session of District Court Yields Divorces and Guardians
The district court held a short session last week with cases including Francis Edward Clark’s divorce from Jessie E. Clark for extreme cruelty and Adelle Ellis’s divorce from Boyd Ellis for failure to provide. Alice Wideman’s divorce from Charles Wideman was granted for failure to provide, with Alice resuming her maiden name. Robert Robinson and Mary Robinson’s divorce was granted for desertion. Guardians were appointed for Mary Lorraine Parker and Volney Parker, minors. W. W. Woodson’s telegraphic arrest from South Carolina was noted as released after no papers arrived. The court also instructed Yerington Commercial Club to tidy its meeting space or lose court-room use, and overruled a price demurrer.
