Rawhide Shipment Tests New Desert Ore Value
The first major Rawhide shipment, 30 tons from the Kearns lease, is being run at Goldfield Nevada Reduction plant to judge ore value. Assays suggest about 125 per ton with gold making three fourths of value, silver the rest. Bottom of the shaft shows ore in thousands, over 100 feet deep, with 75 tons more on dump and in sacks.
