Lands opened for settlement under Walker River project Nevada
Notice from the General Land Office dated May 6 1908 vacates a withdrawal for irrigation and opens certain lands in Nevada to settlement after August 4 1908 under the public lands laws with entries filings or selections prohibited before that date. Notice of Application to Appropriate Nevada Waters
On June 4 1907 1908 P W Chase of Dutch Creek Esmeralda County Nev filed with the State Engineer of Nevada an application to appropriate public waters from Cottonwood Creek seven miles from its mouth and seven miles from Dutch Creek. Water to be conveyed by pipe line and used domestically and for irrigation at twenty miners inches per second with return flow to the stream. First publication July 25 1908 last publication August 15. Proof of publication must be filed within 9 days to avoid voiding the application.
