A hard fought championship contest will be held Saturday on the local diamond between Ellensburg’s selected team and the high school boys. The series has seen sharp games with scores noted as 5 to 8 for Yakima and 15 to 16 for Ellensburg, with the coming game deciding the title. The players have fielded one of the state’s best high school teams and deserve strong support.

The 4 piece orchestra opened, followed by the Seniors in The Bicyclers, with Ada Flint and Jean Cornett performing a duet. The minstrel program featured Edith Cole and Nita Foster in multiple numbers, a varied chorus, and a final original song Climb Up. The event raised over $50 for the troupe.
