A new mining company The Blue Bell Mining Co with headquarters in North Yakima organizes with W B Dudley as president and Thomas Fife as mine superintendent. It plans 25 000 shares at three cents and will use funds for development in the Gold Hill Summit district where a $50 000 bond existed in 1890. The tunnel sinking contract is let and work starts mid April.
